Then I had my little boy. All my kids are active, and I wanted to be a mum who could join in and have fun.
I started out slow. Just 10 minutes walking round the block. Then I tried aerobics classes which I really enjoyed.
The first time you try something new, you can be nervous. I know I was. But just focus on yourself. Don’t worry about the person next to you. Do what you can do. Soon enough, you’ll be one of the regulars.
What I found I loved most was going to the gym and doing weights. I’m now fitter and stronger than I’ve ever been in my life.”
